That's me
My name is Hanan Hino, 32 years old, married to Nevin, and we both live together in the Druze village of Julis in north Israel. I am a mechanical engineer and work as an application engineer at Iscar company for a living. I cook delicious food daily and always try to tell and write about the food I prepare in particular and food cultures from the world in general. I live and breathe the kitchen – (this is the only cliché to be here, I promise), I always loved to cook, mostly for myself or my family, I learned a lot of recipes, I saw countless videos that teach cooking techniques and methods. Still, I always kept it to myself until this blog was born.
The blog was created quite by chance; I did not plan it and did not dream about it, I loved to cook, but I didn’t know that the love of sharing content was hidden within me. One day I uploaded a pretty ordinary picture of chopped steaks with sauce on top on Instagram; I received many messages with demand for the recipe. At first, it was tough to explain to everyone how to make and the preparation stages, but there was tremendous satisfaction along with difficulty. Sharing content makes me feel good, so good I had to share recipes more and more and more.
So I decided to create this food blog. A lot of work has been invested here and a lot more work that I will have to do in the future, but as long as you can prepare the recipes, I am motivated to keep uploading and updating, and explaining. It’s all for you so that you can start cooking delicious food.
The Blog
The blog contains recipes from around the world, different cultures, and regions, with a detailed explanation of how to prepare the recipe and some description of the food itself. In the future, there will be posts that will explain in detail the chemistry of food, recommendations for restaurants, and maybe other corners that will interest you.
